I just finished my 2nd time around the other day and it was a lot more enjoyable then the first. I basically just chose to continue my main character and get him to level 30 and enjoy the bonuses. I have to say I recommend a second time around, I can't believe how much I missed, it also made it a lot easier when I decided not to rush getting the IFF which basically puts the story on pause until you get all your squad members and their loyalty. I still ended up being a good guy with just a dash of evil. For example the interrogation room with Thane I was bad cop and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I ended the game with a level 30 Soldier and my entire squad surviving the suicide mission, plus the random crew members. Right now I'm just finishing up side missions and waiting for the first DLC, while I contemplate another go around being full renegade.
I'd also like to ask thoughts and comments on your squad members? I think Bioware did a good job giving them personality and a story some more then others but still. Zaeed is the weakest in my mind since you can't even talk to him really, he just gives you some stories of past battles. I also find he sucks at fighting when I play with him, he also dies a few times. My top 3 favorite characters have to be Garrus, Thane and Legion. Garrus because he was in the first and with a nickname like Archangel he has to be cool. Thane is my favorite and I hope to see him in the next game before he dies because he is a good sniper I find and the bioitc powers help. I also think the voice work for him is great and the stuff he talks to you about I find interesting and the same goes for Legion these ideas of a collective mind and topics like that I at least find interesting to listen to. However when it comes to combat it usually cycles between Legion, Garrus, Thane, and Samara. I would also just like to note Samara are those things real or what? you guys know what am talking about, I don't usually look at a video game characters chest but Jesus who is the designer that made her.

Oh heh I choose Miranda for being hot and Garrus because he's good with the sniper rifle. Also sometimes Grunt because he's fairly ok with the assault rifle. I don't have Samara yet, but I think Miranda is hot enough (yeah I know it's kinda sad to think a game character is hot) but damn I can't get enough of her "good physique"
