Why you all run a simulated killing game rated M for mature but you don't like me using the name ~AAA~MasturbatingBear............. I mean you figure someone is old enough to play a mature simulated killing game they should be old enough to know what masturbating is right? just wondering what your guys actual thoughts were? I mean religion doesnt fall into play seeing as how we simulate killing ppl and masturbating doesnt fall into play as how well....... we are killing ppl in a mature way. What's the reason for the name restrictions?


BTW with the restrictions I dont plan on playing on your servers, just wondering the reason for the name restriction seeing as how there shouldn't be any for the graphic mature content of the game, this is coming from a vet playing HL mods with the same name since 1996............ I seem to have taken 2 years off (literally) and have stumbled into the same world of "oh this is for little kids and we have to make it safe for them" yet we are killing ppl in the game......... anyone else see something wrong here? if your kids arent old enough to know what wacking it is they shouldnt be old enough to be simulating killing ppl now should they? just a thought kiddies just a thought.

The "keep it safe for kids" thing is just an excuse. We simply like to keep toolbags who think offensive names are funny off our server.

I used to wonder the same thing about cursing on M rated games and why people kick/ban you for it. But the fact is, is that it's their server that they're paying for and therefore their rules. If you don't agree with their rules then you should find another server to play on.

Ok well I don't know how old you are but let me ask you this. If you go to visit your Grandmother, do you talk in front of her about masturbating? If you go over to a co-worker's house for dinner, do you talk about your masturbating habits? If you go out to dinner to a restaurant, do you talk about masturbating while waiting for your table? When you come over to MY house, I expect you to behave yourself. I don't want to hear anything about how you masturbate. If you start talking that way in front of my family then its bye bye buddy. Great responses here, and I agree with Helo, Dyin hit the nail on the head! It never ceases to amaze me when somebody thinks gaming and ribald, nasty language MUST be in tandem or there is no fun to be had. One guy came in the other day and wanted to know first what the server was rated (PG, etc)... then asked 'so no hard language allowed?'...and then left. Talk about a limited, inflexible outlook and mind!

I have to admit Great Responses, and I will have to use them. You all know Reaper hasn't been back on since his post. His way of getting attention, sad but true.
